Player Bio

My name is Addison Mettler, and I am currently a Sophomore at John H. Pitman High School in Turlock, California. I am a catcher and corner infielder for Firecrackers Rico/Weil.

I completed my Freshman year with a 4.3 GPA while taking 3 honors classes, Honors Bio, Honors Math and Honors English.

I started playing softball when I was 5 years of age and travel softball when I was around 7 years old. So this will be my 10th year playing softball and my 8th year playing travel ball. I played with Nor Cal Firecrackers – Mettler for 4 straight years before coming down to Firecrackers Rico/ Weil in fall of 2020.

Outside of softball, I am very interested in other sports such as basketball and volleyball. I made the Varsity Basketball team my freshman year, being the only Freshman on the team, where we won a 2020 CCAL Championship. I also play the guitar and occasionally write and record my own songs for fun. I recently joined ASB this year so that I can better my leadership skills as well as inspire others at my school to be confident and hard working.
