2021 Alliance Fastpitch Nationals
Firecrackers Rico will be heading to the 2021 Alliance Fastpitch Championship Series in Oklahoma City, OK in the next few days.
Festivities begin on Saturday, July 24th with check-in and Opening Ceremonies and Player Experience. There will be a Home Run Derby, Fastest Runner Challenge and Strongest Arm Challenge. Sophia Nugent will be representing Firecrackers Rico in the Home Run Derby.
Sunday begins Regional play for all teams in the 18U Tier I division. Teams will be battling to earn a spot in the next round, Super Regionals. Our first game will be at 2PM at Wild Horse Sports Park, we will face the winner of Glordy Adkins Gold and TC Colorado Gold. Regional play will conclude on Monday with Super Regionals up next.
Super Regional play begins on Tuesday with a best out 3 series between the winners of the Super Regional Bracket. The winner of this series then moves onto the Elite 8 on Wednesday.
Tuesday night will be the Alliance All-Star Game at Hall of Fame Stadium. We have 2 representatives from Firecrackers Rico. Angelina DeLeon will be playing for the National Team and Sophia Nugent will be playing for the American Team. Congratulation to both of these athletes for this well deserved recognition.
