Hello, my name is Sophia Nugent, I am a catcher and corner infielder and I am currently a Senior at Los Alamitos High School in Los Alamitos, CA.

This is my 12th year of playing playing softball  and my 7th year of travel ball. I joined the Firecrackers Rico-Weil team in the fall 2018 with this being my second season with the team. My previous team was Lakewood Hustlers Miramontes, which I was a member of for the previous four years.

• Ranked as the #1 Catcher in the country and the #3 overall player by Extra Innings Softball.
• Ranked as the #3 player in the country by Softball America.

I finished my sophomore year at Los Alamitos High School with a 3.6 GPA and my classes included Honors English, Honors Math, and Honors Spanish.

In addition to school and softball, I also volunteer coach youth softball.
