With the Holiday Season officially upon us, we asked our players to share with us some of their traditions and favorite holiday memories. The holiday season gives us an opportunity to step away from softball and enjoy some very special time with our friends and families.

My favorite holiday tradition: Is when our whole family gathers around the Christmas Tree and we all sing Twelve Days of Christmas together.

My favorite holiday food: Pumpkin pie.

My favorite Christmas song of all time:  You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch. My other favorite Christmas songs are Where Are You Christmas and Baby, It’s Cold Outside.

My favorite holiday/Christmas movie:  The Grinch.

Holiday tradition: We usually have 3 Christmas celebrations, one with just my family in the morning, one with my mom’s side of the family later on Christmas Day, and one with my dad’s side of the family on a different day. My sisters and I usually sleep in the living room, which is where our tree is, on Christmas Eve to “catch Santa”, and on Christmas morning, we watch holiday-themed episodes of Food Network until everyone wakes up, and then we open presents.
 
Favorite holiday food: Gingerbread cookies, 100% without a doubt.
 
Christmas song: Hallelujah, I like the version by Pentatonix
 
Favorite Holiday movie or TV show: Santa Clause 2

Holiday family traditions: Hide the pickle ornament on the tree, Get matching Christmas pajamas, and Monkey bread on Christmas Day.

Favorite Holiday food: My favorite Holiday food would have to be either Corn or mash potatoes with gravy.

My favorite Holiday movie: Home Alone. It always brings a smile to my face when I watch it with my family.

Holiday Traditions: One of my families holiday traditions is that we all get together with family from my moms side and make tortellini from scratch, using a recipe from my great great grandma.

Favorite Holiday Food: German Nut Ball cookies because we only make them at Christmas.
